Pastor Larson:

I have just recently gotten LARSON’S BOOK OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE and have given it a read. Let me first off say that for years I have had a strong admiration for your ministry, especially in the 1980’s when you took on the rock music industry.

Concerning your book, I just had a couple of comments. It is so refreshing to read what you have written about the difference between a multiple personality and a demon. There has been some faulty teaching floating around that all mental illness is caused by demons, and I don’t personally think that is the case. Some definitely are, but not all. What you have said on that subject is revolutionary, and although many people have knocked your ministry as being “sensationalist,” to be honest your perspective on this is one of the most balanced I have ever seen. Thank you for having the sensitivity to the Holy Spirit to discern that.

Thanks again so much for the book, and I have read it cover-to-cover.

While I do not necessarily agree with all areas of your ministry, I can’t deny the fact that after visiting your website and reading the newsletters and seeing all that your ministry is involved in . . . .as far as doing the real work of the ministry, that you truly are doing the world “A Real Service For Jesus”.” The true work of the ministry or the whole gospel doesn’t exclude deliverance or confronting demons. 30 years ago in May of 1973, I was in the audience of one of your rallies. I had come to give you as bad time, however, God had different places as your preaching struck a responsive chord in my heart. I went thru a see-saw battle as demonic powers were urging me to go through the exit door behind me. At the same time the Holy Spirit was wooing me forward toward you. About 3 years ago Bob Larson prayed for me. At the time, I was 45 year old and had nightmares my whole like (ones that I would wake up screaming) and thought everyone had them and it was normal.
