In the prior blog, How Many Demons Can a Person Have?, we saw how demonization can begin with a single open door, multiply over time, and even form layers—so now let’s look at the key factors that determine how deeply a person may be spiritually oppressed.
Key Factors
Severity of Sin: Repeated, serious sin creates greater vulnerability. Often there are generational patterns—on both sides of a family line—that were never confronted or broken.
Trauma: Unprocessed trauma can create spiritual access points. The more severe the trauma—and the less healing that has occurred—the greater the vulnerability.
Occult Involvement: Modern spiritual experimentation is widespread. Practices such as tarot, crystals, energy healing, channeling, psychedelic rituals, Eastern mysticism, and other metaphysical pursuits may represent open spiritual doors. Many people accumulate layers of spiritual exposure without realizing the consequences.
Faith: Active faith and submission to spiritual truth matter. Persistent rebellion, substance abuse, and rejection of biblical foundations deepen spiritual vulnerability.
A Sobering Reality
In recent sessions, I have encountered individuals—some under 40—with long lists of spiritual strongholds operating simultaneously. The pattern is clear: if nothing interrupts it, accumulation increases over time.
Spiritual problems rarely resolve themselves. They intensify.
The Urgency of Action
If something in your life feels spiritually driven, do not ignore it. Do not minimize it. Do not assume it will fade with time.
Confront it. Seek clarity. Seek help. Address it while you have the strength and awareness to do so.
Deal with your demons before they deal with you.
