. I am indebted to my good friend, Pastor Steve Strader, in Lakeland Florida, for passing on a fascinating new report entitled “Psychiatrist Admits Mental Illness is Caused by Demonic Possession.” (The full account can be found at: http://yournewswire.com/psychiatrist-admits-mental-illness-is-caused-by-demonic-possession/).
Richard Gallagher, board-certified psychiatrist and professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College, admits to having personally encountered demonic possession. A priest had invited his opinion about a woman who claimed to be a “Queen” of Satan. He relates that this woman spoke multiple languages she didn’t know (a phenomenon I’ve witnessed hundreds of times) and possessed paranormal ability to reveal facts to individuals that no one knew.
Gallagher says he’s consulted on hundreds of possession cases spanning more than two decades. Some cases he observed were medical conditions; but others he acknowledges were possession by “evil spirits.” Gallagher says, “I’ve seen the real thing.” He cites instances of “trance, enormous strength, even levitation and hidden knowledge.” The doctor says, “I have seen more cases of possession than any other physician in the world.” His final word on the subject is, “For any person of science or faith, it should be impossible to turn one’s back on a tormented soul.”
Gallagher is a confessing Catholic, so that made his conclusions a little easier. My question is this: Why should it be any more difficult for an evangelical Christian to accept such things? Our ministry spans more than four decades and more than 40,000 documented cases of exorcism. Our books have numerous accounts of such instances. Our YouTube site hosts nearly 300 live encounters with demonic possession. The people you see are real. Many are known to their pastors as well as families and friends. Their torment and their freedom is documented, and they are living proof of exorcism’s efficacy.
If you have an unbelieving friend, or a skeptical pastor, point him/her to this article. Force the issue to face the facts. Get my books, such as “Dealing with Demons,” “Jezebel,” and “Curse Breaking.” Enroll in our International School of Exorcism. (To enroll CLICK HERE.) Your honest investigation may lead to the deliverance of someone you love, or even yourself. Get out of the Dark Ages of denial regarding demonic activity. Psychiatry and belief in possession are not contradictory and neither are the words “Christian” and “demonized!
An encouraging word: LET GOD JUDGE YOU
“Judge me Lord.” That statement of David in Psalm 26:1 is an appeal to God to vindicate the psalmist’s character, who goes on the say, “I have walked in integrity.” David isn’t asking for mere self-examination. He wants Divine inspection of his character. He is asking the Lord of the Universe, who knows him better than he knows himself, to pass judgment on his life. Are you and I willing to do that? Do we really want God inspecting our motives and actions? We should, because that is the only path to a clean heart.
